Our friend snowman-pro just posted this August’s photos of their para-glider flights over Kashkarantsy, Kuzomen, and Varzuga. Photos taken from low height, with lots of details, thus a realistic picture of what the land is like.
Above: overall view onto Kuzomen.
Below: our little camp as seen from above.
More, much more at snowman-pro.livejournal.com/49324.html
I believe they are here every summer, and probably won’t mind enquiries from those wishing to join them.
Beautiful at Kuzomen. What’s that big dog in your camp photo? Looks like Tibetan mastiff!
It is Tasha, Alexandra’s Chow-Chow.
This is a more realistic photo
re: Ostrov Medvezhnyi, Kola, between Kandalaksha and Mys Tury. Can you discuss? Maurice.Strahlen.org, geologist, says it’s the only locality in Kola which has silver. Do you have a map and photo of the ostrov and a photo of silver from there?
Just made a post on Island Medvezhy. See https://kandalaksha.su/holes-filled-with-water-in-no-access-area-instead-of-silver/

Beautiful Chow-Chow dog Tasha, and wonderful for her at Kuzomen.
