Nature reserve film festival Jan. 8-10

To be held at the Niva Cultural Center/Movie Theatre. A film, a discussion, and associated activities to start at 1pm daily.

The films are from the Pasvik and Russian Arctic National Park, and of course the Kandalaksha Nature Reserve.

Translation into English is available very inexpensively or even free but a request needs to be made ahead of time. Contact the first day it will be a film on the islands of the Kandalaksha Nature Reserve by Russia Today in 2013.

On Jan. 9 2016 it will be a film on the Franz Josef land by National Geographic, 2013.

Finally, on the 10th of January 2016 we’ll be shown a film on the Pasvik Nature Reserve that includes territories of Russia, Norway, and Finland.

Admission fee is 50 roubles (70 cents) to cover prizes, souvenirs, and flowers to event participants.
